Important disclosures have been made in connection with tho beer and spirit trade in Queensland. An engraver has confessed to making plates of Foster's and Bass's labels) ulio of others including tho leading brands of whisky. The methodß of working up the beer if edifying, are not over pleasant, as wus shown in one case, whore a lump of meat was thrown into tho vat and left there till tho beer had obtained a proper flavour. Tha police aro instituting proceedings against the povsons concerned.
