(Per United Press Association.) MONDAY. In the House of Representatives, The Minister of Lands moved the second reading of the Selectors of Land Revaluation Bill, to provide for the revaluation of certain lands held on deferred payment and perpetual lease respectively. — Mrßallance thought it a step in the right direction, hut thought it should bo sent to the Waste Lands Committee for suggestions. — Mr Samuel opposed the Bill. — Mr J. MacVenzio supported the Bill. — Mr Valentino thought the Bill did not go far enough, but would support it. — After further discussion the second reading was agreed to on the voioei. Tho Hon. Mr Fergus moved the second reading of the Shipping and Seamen's Act Amendmont Bill. — Agreed to. The House went into Committee on the Fire and Marine Insurance Companies Bill. — Sir John Hall moved a new clause, That any local Company hereafter incorporated under " The Companies Act, 1882," for the purpose of issuing only the proporty of its own shareholders, may bo registered as a Limited Liability Company if it possesses a paid up capital of £25,000. After a lengthy discussion, the olauso was read a second time by 60 to 11. Several provisos wore agreed to, and the clause, as amended, was added to the Bill. Progress waa reported, and the Bills passed through Committee were read a third time and passed. The House rose at 11.40.
