No entry will bo received for anyraci! except on thin condition — that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Thoir decision upon all points connected with tho carrying out of this pro* gramme shall be final. All ontries fo bo sealed and addressed to tho Hon. Secretary, Hawera, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and, in case of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colours of tho rider. Any jookey riding except in the colours entered will bo fined 2 sove. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner a distinguishing colour must bs worn. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Hod. Seoretary or Clerk of the Scales half an hour before starting. Any person neglecting or rof using to comply with such rule shall pay a fine not exceeding 5 soys to the race fund. All races to be run under tho Taranaki Jockey Club Rules. , Horses walking over will only recoivojhalf tho stakes. No nomination or acceptance will be received on any protonce whatever, unless actually accompanied by the necessary amount payable. The attention of owners is particularly called to this regulation.
