An old resident of Marton, Mr S. Ingram, ironmonger, has this week been selling off his stock by auction, preparatory to trying his fortunes on the Mahakipawa diggings. Mr Ingram has been in business in Marton for many years, as a blacksmith previously, and of late jears as an ironmonger. His many friends will heartily wish him success at tho diggings.
