Pasteur has conduoted a successful experiment in demonstration of his method of exterminating rabbits by means of inooulation. A piece of land, eij;ht hectares {19 acre*) in extent, was enoloned and populated with rabbits. In the middle warren a number of rabbits, inoculated with a virulent disease, were liberated, and within a few hours the whole of f.he animals in the enolosure were dead.
