June 3. Charles Miller, expressman, who was injured by stones from the blast in Dowling I Street, has served the corporation with a writ claiming £500 damages. ' At a meeting of polioyholders of the Industrial Branch of the Government Associi afcion, it was resolved to petition the Government recommending the closing of the branch here, and to return the money in full. June 4, John Creighton, ranholder at Mount Ida, has filed. His liabilities amount to £7420, and assets £10,000.
