FRIENDLY SOCIETIES DEMONSTRATION.

Wellington, Oct. 15.
A monster torchlight procession took place to-night in connection with the Friendly Soceties' Demonstration, which was viewed by an immense concourse of people. The procession proceeded to the Exhibition, where an address was delivered by the Hen R. Stout, on "The value of Friendly Socetios in relation to the commonwealth." A promenade concert was also held.
