The Wallabi will sail for Greymouth to- ' night weather pormitting. The Huia and Manuwatu arrived from Wellington this afternoon. The Stormbird arrived at Wellington from this port early this morning. The bar was signalled as dangerous at noon to-day, and there is very little chauce of any steamers getting away to-night. The Union O'o.'s s.s. Maitai, Capt. Dawflon, left Wellington on Tuesday, 13th, at 5 7J] p.m;, for Wanganui. Experienced N.W. yrinds with heavy sea; Ran for shelter under .JLapiti. On Wednesday laid at anchor for , J, hours, and while there a barque of about - '700 tons ran in for shelter and came to an , anohpr. Moved on again at 5 p.m. for Wanganui and experienced N.W. Winds with heavy toll up to the bar, arriving at 2 a.m. today.
