Spray was dam of Wetsail and Stormbird. Bedouin is sire of Witiora. who performed successfully on this coast and Auckland during the season 1883-84 ; also, sire of Shamrock, who ran second for the big money in Hokitika, and won the Consolation same day .beating Lillipee and several others. Bedouin was a successful i erformer on the turf, having ran second for the Auckland Handicap, 18? 6 won by Ariel.
