The following cable message has been received by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency from their London office :—: — Ihe wool market is unchanged. The wheat market is quiet ; Adelaide is worth 36s 6d, New Zealand 33s 6d, and Tuscan 36s per 4961b5; Adelaide, f.a.g , ia worth c.i.f. to arrive, 35s 6d per 480lbs. The tallow market is flat; best mutton is worth 31s. and best beef 29s per cwt. The leather market i.« unchanged. The New Zealand flax market is firm ; fine quality is worth £27, medium £21, and common £17 per ton.
