THE above Sohool will be opened on Monday, the 26th day of January, when Mrs Davis will be assisted by a staff of effioient teaohers, consisting of a Resident Matriculated Governess, Visiting Governesses, and qualified and experienced Musters. The School buildings are large and well ventilated, and are also situated in a pleasant and healthy part of Wanganui,outside the town. The proportion of teachers to soholars will be large, therefore backward pupils may receive individual care, The aim of the course of instruction is to provide a general education of the highest order, and specially to develop the characters as well as the intellect of the pupils, and to foster a ladylike tone throughout the institution, Musio will be specially attended to, the system taught being that of the Conservatoire of Musio in Germany or France.
