Although this was not an advertised meet* ing, and I did not hear of it in time to get out to report it' myself, I am enab.'ed, through the thougbtfulnees and courtesy of a friend, to give a resume of the different evente. The day was fine, and the attend* ance good considering the very scant pub* licity given, nearly 300 persons being present' _Tbe meeting was held. on,., the , Warrengate property on Mr Harrison's private track, and the gate money was divided between the winners at the plose of the meeting. The ball opened with the Hurdle Raob, 1£ miles, over four flights of hurdles. ■ Mr F. Ruscoe's Steel Grey, by Young Opawa (W. Chapman) ... .-, 1 Mr W.
