Passengers— Misses Gray and MolAohlen, Messrs G. MoNiven, J. D. Quintoo, Puttie, Miliwuid, Smith, and three •migrants. The Wallace arrived at Nelson from this port last evening. . , The Huia left Wellington last evening, and arrived at this port at noon to-day. The St Kilda and Wallabi will sail for Greymonth so aoon as the weather moderates* The Annie will load up with timber for tfelaon, and will sail for that port in the middle of next week. The Oreti was successfully launohed from Mr B. Seager's yard at Te Aro on Wedueaday last. The launch went off beautifully, •nd without the ahghteat hitch, and she was afterwards hauled alongside the Queens wharf. Her mizzen mast was put in yesterday. A description of the work done to the Oreti was published in these columns somo time since. This steamer is advertised to leave this port for Taranaki on Wednesday »ext. Messrs Walker and Hatriok are the local agents.
