CRICKET.
Adelaide, March 14. — The cricket match Australian Eleven v Fifteen of South Australia was continued here to-day. The home team resumed their first innings, and were all disposed of for 260. The Australians then went in, and when the stumps were drawn had lost seven wickets for 246 runs. The following are the scores : — Bannerman, c, 35 ; McDonnell, n, 22 ; Murdoch, b, 0 ; Giffen, b, 36 ; Midwinter, c, 25 ; Blaekham, b, 14 ; Alexander, c, 69 ; Scott, not out, 29 ; Boyle, not out, 9 ; extras 7 ; total 246. The Australian team will leave for England by the steamer Sutlej to-morrow.
SCULLING MATCH. Sydney, March 14. — A prize of £200 has
been offered for a match between professiona scullers, the winner to meet Hanlon, the American oarsman.
SHIPPING. Sailed, this afternoon — Steamship Wairarapa for Auckland.
