CRICKET.

Melboukne, March 13.— Goldsborough s Annual Wool Review has been issued. It states that the season's clip has been excellent. The sales in the colonies have amounted to 348,000 bales, or forty per cent of the total production of sales. The increases have been as follows : Victoria, 34,000 bales; Sydney, S5,000; Adelaide, 4,000. There has been an active demand on the continent, whither 64,000 bales have been exported. 22,000 bales have been sent to America, being an increase of 14,000. Total exports for the year show an increase of 83,500 bales, as compared with previous years.

Adelaide, March 13.— A cricket match was commenced here to-day between the Australian Eleven and a South Australian team. The latter went in first, and at the close of the day's play had scored 131 runs with five wickets down.
