Sapling Stakks, of 25 soys ; for 2-year-olds ; entrance, 2 soys ; six furlongs ; Derby weights ; maiden starters allowed 51bs. To start at 2 o'clock. Autumn Handicap, of 100 soys; second horse to receive 15 soys out of the stakes ; nomination, 2 soys ; acceptance, 3 soys; li miles ; winner of any race of the value of 100 eovs after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71bs ; top weight not to exceed lOst. Maiden Plate, of 25 soys ; 1J milesj weight for age ; entrance, 2 soys ; open to all horses that have never won public money prior to date of entry ; any horse entered for the Maiden Plate winning an advertised race between the time of entry and date of race to carry a penalty of 51bs. Hack Race, of 5 soys; J-mile; post entry; entrance, 1 ' soy ; half entrance added j; same conditions as previous hack race ; winners of previous hack races barred from running for this. To start at 3.30 o'clock. Forced Handicap, of 15 soys ; once round the course ; entrance, winning horses 1 boy, losing horses 10s. To start at 4 o'clock. Nominations close on Saturday, 15th March, at 10 o'clock a.m., for Handicap Hurdles, 1 soy; Flying Handicap, 1 soy; Autumn Handicap, 2 soys. RULES AND REGULAIIONS. No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition — That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. , ' ■ All entries must be sealed and addressed to the Hon Secretary, Box No. 12, Waverley, entrance money enclosed (exchange must be added to cheques), with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and in case of handicaps, the performances of horses, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in colours entered will be fined 3 soys, When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn-. • All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Olerk of the Scales one half -hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine of 5 soys to the race fund. All races to be run under the W.J.C. Rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes. In all races the second horse only saves his stakes when it is especially mentioned that he does so. No qualification fee. No entries or nominations will be received under any pretence whatever after the specified time for closing.
