To- start at 12.15. 3 Maiden Plate of 40 soys. Entrance 3 soys. Weight for age. 1J miles. Open to all horses that have never won public money (hack races excepted) prior to date of entry. Any horse entered for Maiden Plate winning an advertised race between the date of entry and date of race to carry a penalty of 51bs. To start at 1 p.m. 43 Manawatu District Produce Race of 60 soys. For 3 year-olds. Colts, Bst lOlbs ; Fillies and Geldings, Bst 51bs. Second horse to receive 10 soys out of stakes. Distance 1£ miles. Nominations 1 soy ; acceptance 2 aovs. Final acceptance 1 soy. The winner of this race to be offered for sale by auction immediately after the race, and any sum realised over £20 to go to the funds of the Club. To start at 4 p.m. 7^ Flying Handicap of 60 soys. Nominations 1 soy ; acceptance, 3 soys. Dis- : tance 6 furlongs. To start at 4.45 p.m. 85 Consolation Handicap of 30 soys. Nominations, 1 soy ; acceptance, 1 soy. For all horses beaten during the meeting. Distance 1£ miles. To start at 5.30 p.m. Nominations will be received addressed to the Secretary, at the Commercial Hotel, Palmerston North, up to Saturday, 17th November, at 8 p.m. Weights will be declared on Saturday, Ist December. Entrances and acceptances close on Saturday, December 15th, at 8 p.m. rules and Regulations. ' No entry will be received for any race except upon this' condition, — That all Disputes, Claims, and objections arising out of tho racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their, decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme_shall be final. j All Entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Palmerston North ; Entrance money enclosed with name, age at the time of entry, pedigree, and in the case of Handicaps, performance of the horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any Jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 3 soys. When two or more horses start (the property of the same owner) a distinguishing colour must be worn. All persons intending to withdraw horses, are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of Scales one halfhour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine cf 5 soys to the race fund. All races to be run under the W.J.C. Rules. Horses walking over will only receive hau the stakes. No horse to save its stakes in any race except where otherwise specified. No entries or nominations will be received under any pretence whatever after the time specified for closing.
