♦ [by electric tbjjeabaph— copyright,] (reuter's telegrams.) Received Dec 13, 10p.m. THE SUEZ MAIL. London, Dec 12. — The Australian mails per Orient steamship John Elder, dated Melbourne, November 3rd, wore delivered via Naples yesterday. A STEAMER ON FIRE. The steamship Kent, outward bound from London to Melbourne, was found, on arrival at Port Said, to be on firo in the hold. The fire was extinguished soon after it had been discovered. Some slight damage was done to the cargo.
