Nov 3. As the Auckland footballers have not replied to the Wellington Association's offer to refer the late match to the English Rugby Union, the Wellington men claim the run. Nov 4. The Rotorua from the South yesterday afternoon brought in tow the barque Caberfejdh, which left port early this morning bound for Greymouth. The Caberfeidh had accidentally got fast on Barrett's Reef, and had to be towed off. The extent of the damage is unknown.
