LATEST INTELLIGENCE.
Received August 13, 0.46 a.m. ANTI-JEWISH RIOTS. Vienna, August 10. — Serious anti-Jewish riots continue in Pesth, and similar disturbances have taken place in this city. In both places the rioters defied the civil authorities, but were dispersed by military force. THE RISING IN SPAIN. Madrid, Aug 10. — A proclamation has been issued to-day declaring the province of Catalonia in a state of siege, and strong bodies of troops have been despatched to the oentres of population. In consequence of the disaffection now prevailing in the district, there is fear of an insurrection. Latest accounts from Leo De Urgtl report that on the arrival of the loyal troops at that place a portion of the rebel garrison crossed the border into French territory, and the re* mainder submitted. The inhabitants of this city continue to manifest great loyalty to King Alfonso, and His Majesty to-day was accorded an ovation upon his arrival at the capital. THE MADAGASCAR DIFFICULTY. Paris, Aug 10.— A force of 600 troops has been despatched to Madagascar to reinforce the French garrison at Tamatave.
