Messrs Thynne, Linton and Co. report aB follows :— At our sale on Thursday there was a fair attendance of buyers. We yarded 100 head cattle and 500 sheep. Beef, mixed, fetched £5 5s a head ; cows, from £2 5s to £4 7s 6d ; heifers, £3 ; yearlings, 30s ; fat wethers, 10s 8d ; merino ewes in lamb, 5s to 6s. Nearly all the lots were quitted. A few unbroken colts and fillies fetched £5 to £6, but other hacks and draughts offered found no purchasers.
