Sale at noon, MESSRS CARLAW, SMITH, & CO., have received instructions from Mr James Macildowie to sell by auction, within their Auction Rooms, Gisborue, on Friday, the 3rd day of August next, at Noon— The Subdivision Section, No. 20, Pouawa Block, containing 386 acres land, and well known as Macildowie's land. The section is an exceedingly fine piece of laud, about 200 acres cleared, the remainder mixed useful bueh; soil very superior ; a large portion flat land, and all well watered. In consequence of the scarcity of timber in the Gisborne District, the timber on this section will soon be of much value. The land is situated about 10 miles from Gisborne, and a mile and a-half from the beach, where goods can bo landed.
