STOCK REPORT.

' Our usual fortnightly sale took place on the 14th. The attendance was good, and bidding brisk throughout, nearly all the lots being sold under the hammer. Prices generally had an upward tendency, particularly < . those of beef. CATTLI-— 165 came forward. Fat bullocks, £6 3s 6d to £6 15s; fat cows, £5 3s to £5 10s; 2fyear heifers, £3 2s 6d; store cows, £2 15s to £3 j milking cows in calf, £3 15s to £4 10s ; yearlings, 40s ; 18-montha heifers, 48s. Sheep— About 760 of all classes came forward, and were all disposed of. Fat wethers, 11s 4d to lls 7d ; fat sheep, 9s to 9s Sd ; 2-tooth wethers, 8s ; lambs, 4s to 5s 3d ; f*t iambi, 5a lid. - Pigs— Good porkers, 20s, 6b, lls. Horses— Horses are very dull. We - quitted one 3-year-old mare, by Painter, for £25, and a few hacks from £4 to £7.
