London, Aug. 25. — The Australians commenced their return match . against eleven of Glouce-tershire at Clifton to-day. Tbe weather which had prevented the play yesterday was showery, and the wicket was heavy. Murdoch and Palmer were absent, both being too unwell to play. The visitors went first to the wickets, and remained in until time was called, when ttie^ score stood at 168 with. four wickets to fall.
