NEW PLYMOUTH. July 27. About 11 o'clock last night a native whare at Bell Block, owned by an old Maori man and woman, was burnt. The inmates were asleep, and before the man could be got out he was severely burnt all over his body. He was brought in to the Hospital, and is not expected to live. Four more natives have been arrested at Parihaka.
