Cr Pollock moved and Or Carson | seconded, That the Avenue be clayed andj gravelled each side vp 1 to Ingestre-street.; -The* Mayor remarked that it was a.heayyi undertaking, and referred to the financial position of the Council.— The matter was held over for the foreman of works to prepare an estimate of cost. accounts. Accounts to the amount of £398 on the general account, and £91 on the hospital •account, were passed, and the Council adjourned.
