The Manawatu left Wellington at 5 p.m., yesterday, and arrived this morning afc 8, bringing 59 immigrants beside a number of ordinary passengers. She leaves again for Wellington at 8 p!clock this evening. ', The fiarque which the Manawatu sighted ' on Sunday proved to be the Fcrnglen, which arrived at Wellington on Sunday evening. • > The Stornfbira left for Wellington at 8 o'clock last evening, taking a full cargo and the largest number of passengers that has fallen to any sseamcr for a long time past. f The little ,"steamer Clyde left for Patea at 7.30 Jasfc night, and on arriving afc the heads towed the schooner Arthur Wakefield which had'siuck' there off. The latter is now taking in part of; the cargo which had been landed to lighten her, and when this is finished she will come up to the wharf. Very little damage is done to" either ship or cargo. The' steamer St Kilda, which has been Jying down the river for some days, came up to the wharf this morning. She leaves for Greymouth to-morrow morning. The steameis Wallace, from Nelson, and Go-ahead from Wellington, both due to-day, had not arrived when we went to press.
