The amount of revenue collected at the Custom Houae here for the week ending April 6th, was £356 12s 7d, made up as follows :—: — £ s d. The grain is now coming in in large quantities, but farmers ask more than buyers are willing to give, owing to the crops turning out better than was expected. Wheat shows a downward tendency, and receded to 4s for the best samples ; oats are in good demand at from 3s 4d to 3s 6d ; breadstuff's quoted f.o.b. Flour, £11 10s to £12 ; oatmeal, £18 ; pearl barley, £20 ; pollard, 5s lOd ; bran, 3s sd ; potatoes, 45s to 50s. Wellington, April 5. Mr George Thomas reports produce prices as follow :— Flour, £13 to £13 5s ; oats, 4s 3d to 4s 6d, scarce ; bran, 12s, good demand ; wheat, 4s ; hams, 9d ; baoon, 8d ; cheese, 7£ ; pollard, £7 108 ; potatoes, ss ; maize, 5s 6d. Chkistchurch, April 5. The grain market is very inactive, buyers showing no disposition to meet farmers' demands. Wheat, 4s 3d ; oats, 8s 3d to 3s 6d ; barley, 4s to 4s 3d ; flour, £12 ;bran, £4 10s ; sharps, £5 103. Statistics show a large acreage of potatoes, and low rates are expected to rule.
