Every person supplied with gas by the Company, who willfully suffers any pipe, meter, or other gas fitting to be out of repair, so that the gas is wasted shall for every such ofience forfeit to the Company any sum not exceeding- five pounds over and sibove the loss which the Company sustained by such waste. 9. The limits within which such Gas-works are intended to be made extend to and include all lands lvin«within a radius of ten miles from the south-east corner of section Ko. 173 on the plan of the Town ot Wanpvnui. ! 11. Such gasworks as aforesaid are intended to be made and maintained in and through the Borough of Wanganui, and any land which has or which may be reclaimed from the Wanganui River, for making or improving the Town and Harbour oi' Wanganui. 12. The works for the manufacture of gas are intended to ba erected on that triangular piece of land situate in and forming part of the Town Belt of the Town of Wanganui, containing two acres and 18 perches, more or less, and commonly known as the "Gas Reserve."
