GALLANT PRINCE, a pure bred short-horned Bull, rich roan, calved 10th July, 1873 ; sire, Prince Gwynne (20,547) ; dam, Princes Royal (19,879). These fine animals were shipped to New Zealand by Messrs Sturgeon and Sons, Gray's Hall, Essex, and landed iv Wellington 14th January, 1876. Ex Pleiades, from London. Six (0) first- class Lincoln Rams, selected from the Hocks of St. P. Robinson, Hertlofe, Alford J. J. Clark, Welton-le-Wold, Louth S. Kemp, Thurlby Grange, Alford Aud are equal to any Rams ever imported into New Zealand. The strain has ever since been carefully cultivated and improved by Messrs Sturgeon, and it is generally admitted that their type of Merino Rams is the finest that can be produced, combining length and fineness of wool, with weight of carcase, strength of constitution, and every other good quality. The stock can be inspected at any time by applying at the office of the auctioneers, where pedigrees may be examined, catalogues procured, and any other information obtained.
