Monday, Feb. 7th. (Continued from our hist.) CORRESPONDENCE. Letter from J. O'Sullivan to Engineer, complaining that he had been stopped on the Oruakainga road by Mr Thompson, as no compenaation had been arranged. The matter had been previously settled. From Secretary of the Education lioard relative to the amount to be paid for a copy of the rate book. The Education Board thought the Highway Board had no right to assess the amount they should pay. The matter was held over. ENGINEER. Mr Field having stated that he was unable to attend to the work of both Board, the Boards resolved to oiler him him the salary formerly paid by the two Boards, and the Secretary was instructed to inform Mr Field of the conclusion arrived tit.
