Fodder. — At the Haymarket, on Friday last, small loa<is of fodder were more plentiful than usual. Meadow hay brought from 14s to 255 ; clover hay, 265 ; oaten hay, 24s to 36s the load. Large loads, 2s 9d to 3s 3d the cwt. ; barley, 2s 5 d the bushel. • ' Horses. — Heavy draught horses were in better supply than usual, and in good demand ;*they brought from £52 10s to £67 each ; medium draught, £13 to £22 10s ; unbroken draught' coUs, £40 to £42 ; riding horses, £6 to £11 each.'. Wool, Hides, &c. — The usual weekly sale of wool, hides, and skins, was more fully supplied than customary. There was a full attendance of the trade, and the prices for wool were a farthing higher than the previous sale. Hides and skins were fully competed] for at previous values. About 50 bales of wool in addition to the usual supply, were sold. Hides brought : Damaged, 3d ; sound, 4d the lb ; sheepskins, Is lOd ; pelts, 3d to 8d each ; lambs' wool, in grease, 9Jd to 9|d ; longwool, washed, ll^d to 13£ d ; in grease, 8d to 9|d ; locks, If to s£d the lb. At the Annual Sheep Fair at llemuera about 10,000 were yarded, being about the average of previous years. The prices realized were fair. A large number of rams sold, ranged from £2 to fifty guineas. Cattle and Sheep. — At Remuora, on Thursday, dairy ' cows were at higher values. Store cattle in' limited numbers and steady demand. Fat' cattle in full supply ; 150 head penned, last week's prices were obfcaiued. Fat sheep in less than usual numbers ; 300 sold ; no alteration in values. Lambs plentiful, andi lower in price than last week. Prices given were : Dairy cows, at profit £9 to £12 ; dry cows, L 3 15s to L 6 ; calves, 28s to 45s : 18 months steers, L 4 5s toL4l2s 6d each. Fat cattle, 25 6d to 32s 6d the' 1001 b. Fat sheep, 2|d to 3d the lb.; lambs, 8s to 15s each. , .
