Persons lodging a protest will place £1 in the hands of the Secretary on making the same, which money will be torfeited if such protest be deemed by the Stewards frivolous or unjust. 4. Nominations for the Wanganni Jockey Club Handicap, addressed to the Secretary, must be made on or before 9 p.m. on Thursday, 3rd February. Weights to be declared on the 10th February. Acceptances, addressed to the Secretary, Commercial Hotel, Wanganui, will be received up to MONDAY, 28th February, at 9 p.m. WANGANUI DERBY OF 1877-78.
