Wellington, 6th, 7.45 p.m., Napier, for Wanganui. • Patea, Gth., 5.30 p.m., Tongariro, front Wanganui. *—■ ■ - ■ Messrs Brogden arid Son's new steamer, the Paterson, is to be employed in the coasting trade, and will make her first trip from this port to Napier and Auckland on the 7th instant. She is said to be a fine steamer of 250 tons register, with first-class passenger accomodation ; while the fact of her being under .the command of Captain' Kennedy will-greatly assist to make her a favourite with travellers. Messrs W. and Gr. Turnbullaud Go. have been appointed agents for the vessel.: —Post.
