PENDING the appointment of a Board of Health for the Port of Wanganui, under the Harbour and Quarantine Regulations, 1868, I hereby notify that the South Spit, near the Wanganui Heads, has been provisionally constituted a quarantine ground for the purposes of the Act. A yellow quarantine flag will be hoisted at ; the Medical Officer's tent, from sunrise to s>unset, and all masters of vessels and others are hereby cautioned against communicating with the above station except by special authority of the Acting Health Officer.
