Public Notices. .-I—--■■■-, -~ —■-..., , , —^^^ SMALL POX. pENDING the appointment of a Board of Health for the Port of Wanganui, under the Harbour and Quarantine Regulations, 1868, I hereby notify that the South Spit, near the Wanganui Heads, has been provisionally constituted a quarantine ground for the purposes of the Act. A yellow quarantine flag will be hoisted at the Medical Officer's tent, from sunrise to bimset, and all masters of vessels and others are hereby cautioned against communicating with the above station except by special authority of the Acting Health Officer.
