UNIVERSAL MEDICINE FOR CHILDREN. DR. SAMUELS' Anthelimntic, or Worm Powders. The Proprietor of this invaluable and easily taken medicine begs leave to introduce it to the public with the utmost confidence in its efficacy. These Powders are prepared from a valuable and private receipt; they are pleasant to the taste, and mild in their actions, and their composition that which cannot at all injure the most delicate constitution. Prepared under the personal sxup&rintendence of Dr. Samuels. Symptoms vary according to the species of Worms. Direct symptoms are sometimes observable, such as Disgust of Food an Irregular Appetite, Nausea, Voimtin 2 \ Griping, Pain in 'the Stomach, Disturbed Starting- and Grinding- of the Teeth in the sleep, Foul Breath, Perspiration, Headache, Dilation of the Pupils of the Eyes, Bleeding- from the Nostrils. SquintinoHardness, Swelling- and Rumbling in the -Belly, Pinching-and Gnawing- of the Stomach, Itching- and Irritation in the Nose and Navel, &c, which-leads the, patient to pick and scratch those parts; liead Symptoms, Convulsions, Pfcyalism, <fee. The medicinal action of the Powders are as follows: Shortly after having- taken the proportionate dose the patient may expect to feel somewhat squeamish, Purging, unattended with pain or danger, which will continue for a short time, when the Worms may be looked for. * .
