TO CONTRACTORS. rpHE Telegraph Commissioner is -J- prepared to receive tenders for the delivery and cartag-e of Three; Thousand (3000) Poles for a line of Telegraßh to be constructed between: Wanganui and the City of Welling- ' ton. The poles will have to be delivered in the first instance in the following quantities by sea at the places below mentioned, and then cartel and laid along the line at points to be herefe^afier indicated :—' . ' 590, more or less, on the South Bank ofyfche Wanganui River 590, more or less, on the North Bank of the M anawatu Eiver l"00, more or less, on the South Bank of the Manawatu River 660, more or less, to be carted only from Wellington to Pai>v kakariki. ; Tenders to state the price per pole for cartage and delivery for each section separately: The poles: will be delivered to the contractor at the Telegraph Stores, Wellington.- , : tender to be accompanied by ""^■deposit of twenty-five pounds (^5) as a guarantee of good faith, which sum will be forfeited by any tenderer should he refuse to take up his tender, in the event of its being accepted. :■ Each tender, must include the names of two for approval, who are willing to become bond for the due performance of the contract, in the event of the tender being ac-i cepted, and must be accompanied by I a notification ttnthat effect, signed j^ by the two proposed sureties.
