Waipara.—This steamer is on the slip, but from the flushed state of the river it has not as yet been possible to examine her bottom in order to aaqerjain the amount of injury she sustained by striking on'the Patea bar the other day. It is to be hoped that the damage she »as sustaineA-is not very serious as in that case the will have tv proceed to Nelson for repair.
