(per greville's telegram company, reuter's agents). Hokitika., July 10th. Omeo from Melbourne arrived in the roadstead yesterday, but the sea was too high to tender. She signalled the words " Suez Mail," and then was compelled to stand out to sea. She is supposed to have the Suez Mail telegrams only. There is no chance of tendering her to-day, as a mountainous sea is "running. The steamer Waipara left for Martin's Bay and intermediate ports a fortnight ago, and has not been since heard of. The weather throughout that period has been uncommonly boisterous. The Waipara is supposed to be safe, but weatherbound.
