ALIEN PROPAGANDA. DENOUNCED BY U.S.A. OFFICIAL. WASHINGTON, Tuesday. Ostensibly referring to regular Avireless broadcasts to Latin America from Fascist and Communist countries in Europe, Avhicli are knoA\ r n to be causing concern to officials, the Under-Secre-tary of State (Mr Welles), in an address, inveighed against alien propaganda and strongly reaffirmed the Monroe Doctrine. “Any attempt on the part of non-American Powers to exert through force their political or material influence on the American Continents,” he said, “Avill immediately be a matter of the gravest concern, not only to the United States, but to every other American republic, and appropriate action Avill immediately be determined as a result of common consultation among them.”
