LIBRARY FIRE
VALUABLE BOOKS DESTROYED. BRISBANE, Monday. A lire in the Brisbane Public Library destroyed irreplaceable historic documents and books valued at thousands of pounds. The firemen saved the Oxley Memorial Library in the same building.
