PLACEMENT SERVICE
POSITIONS FILLED LAST WEEK During the week ended last Saturday 905 men were placed in private employment through the State Placement Service, making a total of 17,884 since Ist April. Of these nearly 6000 are classed as permanent. The following figures show the operations of placement offices throughout New Zealand:—
