ALLEGED THEFT
CLERK CHARGED. AUCKLAND, Thursday. On a charge of stealing £l3 7s at Christchurch on Ist August, the property of the Government, Russell Frederick Organ, a clerk, aged 23, appeared in the Auckland S.M. Court : to-day. In asking for a remand ;i t° Christchurch on Monday next,fa detective said that Organ was arrested on Wednesday when about to leave by the Niagara for Australia under an assumed name. —(P-A.)
