STATE THEATRE
TWO ATTRACTIVE FEATURES. Ben Travers, prince of ultra-modern comedy authors, wrote “Dishonour Bright’’ specially for Tom Walls, and in order to get the most out of this rich, risque matrimonial farce, Walls also decided to direct the film himself. “Dishonour Bright’’ will be shown at the State Theatre again to-night at 7.45. ■» The story starts in a divorce court, finishes in a bedroom, and spicy situations that develop - 'in between are deliciously handled in Walls’s own inimitable style. He plays the part of a polished man of the world, whose reputation made jealous husbands shut their doors on him, and romantic wives open them again. Supporting the main" feature is an excellent short picture, entitled “The Keeper of the Trees.’’ This film depicts in all their glory the wonderful forests in the North Island of New Zealand. The planting of this great area was started about II years ago, and the film shows the growth of these trees, as well as a few of the wonders which modern invention has evolved, for the handling of timber, and woodpulp. Reserves at F. J. Adcock’s, ’phone 1275.
