TOTAL NOW NEARS £20,000. ‘ It lias been announced by the Internal Affairs Department that donations to the King George V Memorial Fund now total nearly £20,000. A particularly noteworthy effort is reported from Taupo, where : a committee, under the chairmanship of Dr. Armstrong, has already collected a sum of over £sl, and hopes to exceed this amount. This effort, in a sparsely populated area, is considered particularly commendable. A donation of 20 guineas has been received from the Civil Service Institute.
