Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from London, dated 30th April:— Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, market tolls, etc): N.I. Down lambs, 28/361bs, 7 l-Bd. N.I. Down lambs, 36/421bs, 6 5-Bd. Best N.I. xbd lambs, 28/361bs, 7d. Best N.I. xbd lambs, 36/421b5,, 6 5-Bd. N.I. 2nd. qual. lambs, av. 30/311bs, 6fd. Best N.I. wether sheep, under 481bs, 5 3-8 d to 4 3-8 d per lb. North Island ewes, 41 d to 3f d per lb. N.Z. prime ox beef, 160/220, none- offering. Compared with last week's quotations Down lambs l-8d per lb. lower, wethers l-8d per lb. lower; ewes, 56/721bs, l-8d per lb. lower. The market is dull all round.
