RUGBY, Tuesday. , A long list of appointments to the King’s Household is gazetted to-night. Among the principal appointments are the folloAving:— *

Lord Chamberlain—The Earl of Cromer. Lord Steward —The Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry. Master of the Horse —The Duke of Beaufort. Treasurer of the Household —Sir George Penny'. Comptroller of the Household —Sir Lambert Ward. Vice-Chamberlain of the Household — Sir George Davies. PriA-ato Secretary—Major Alexander Hardinge. Assistant Private Secretaries —Mr F. I-I. Mitchell, Mr A. F. Lascelles, and Sir Eric Melville. Keeper of the King’s ArcliiA'es —Lord Wigram. Keeper of the Privy Purse—Major Uliclc Alexander. Financial Secretary to the King— Mr F. P. Robinson. High Almoner —The Archbishop of Canterbury. Prebendary Arcliville is appointed Precentor of the Chapels Royal, and under the heading of medical household there are 35 appointments, headed by Lord DaAvson of Penn, Lord Horder, Sir John Weir, and Sir Maurice Cassidy. The Earl of Atlilonc is to be Constable and GoA'crnor of Windsor Castle. Mr John Masefield continues to be Poet Laureate. —(British Wireless).
