HON. W. E. PARRY'S DESIRE. ROTORUA. This Day. Expressing the hope that he would be instrumental in forming a National Council of Sport, a body which would endeavour to achieve a greater measure of co-ordination among various sporting bodies, the Minister for Internal Affairs (the Hon. W. E. Parry), replying to a toast proposed in hia honour at a dinner at Rotorua. He said he hoped to see the day when certain days would be sgt aside for various sports 5n order to avoid the jostling which itook place at present. Mr Parry added that it would be his jaim and that of the Government to promote the growth of healthy sport of all kinds. —(P.A.)
