LADIES’ HOCKEY
AUCKLAND BEATS FIJI. AUCKLAND, Saturday. The! Fiji -women’s hockey team concluded its tour of the Dominion with a match against Auckland at Eden Park on Saturday, the home team winning easily by eight goals to nil in a poor exhibition. The visitors failed to win a single game on the tour. They played twelve matches, losing ten and drawing two. Auckland’s goals were scored by Misses Gawler (3), Lowe (2), Bell (2) and Cotter. —(P.A.)
